Welcome to Virtual Huertas!

In Huertas College, we are committed in developing integral beings that contribute significantly with the purpose of achieving an inclusive and self-sufficient society. For this reason, we performed a quality teaching-learning process that incorporates new concepts and emerging technologies.

These technologies and their derivatives guide us to promote and adopt various teaching-learning methods, of which distance education emerges as a fundamental alternative. Distance education is defined as the process of teaching and learning, synchronous and asynchronous, employing a wide range of multimedia technologies and facilitated learning when there is a physical separation and / or time between student and teacher.

In our educational model, we integrated three modes of distance education: completely online, hybrid (part in the physical classroom and part online) and supplemented (physical classroom course, incorporating elements of distance education), using the LMS Moodle platform as an intermediary to encourage continuous interaction between student-teacher, student-student and student-subject/matter.

Our faculty is trained in the best practices of distance education and committed to support you, guide you and provide you with constant feedback during the teaching-learning process.

We reiterate our commitment to "excellence in teaching and service to benefit the community" and require faculty and students willing to face challenges and break the mold to "achieve an inclusive and self-sufficient society."
